Drik is Oklahoma’s first preclinical contract research organization ( CRO ) specializing in preclinical drug development. Drik preclinical testing services support an expanding range of in vitro testing and animal studies for preclinical drug discovery, cosmetic and chemical industries. Drik provides in vivo testing and toxicology tests in its laboratories including cell-based assays and cell assays exploring the causes of diseases and the potential safety concerns. We evaluate the toxicity of new agents using biological systems including animal models. Drik’s premium niche service is in 3D Organotypic slice cultures, a leading industry initiative in providing a reliable de-risk strategy. Drik has also developed expeditious procedures for protocol review, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) meets regularly each year to monitor the care and use of research animals.
